MCP prompts
JustClaw-It ships 4 MCP prompts: ready-made recipes your client shows as slash commands. Each one tells the agent which tools to call, in which order, and what each costs, so nothing is spent by surprise.
add-feature: Search, licence-check, pull, integrate and attribute a JustClaw-It component for a feature.licence-check: Review the project's dependencies and pulled components against JustClaw-It licence and advisory data.starter: Plan a project from licence-cleared components; compose_starter for Pro users.find-alternative: Swap a dependency for a licence-cleared JustClaw-It component.
Listing and using prompts is free and works without a key; the tools a prompt then calls cost what they always cost (searches 0 credits, get_component 1 credit, Pro tools more).
Where they show up
- Claude Code: type
/and pick/mcp__justclaw-it__add-feature(and the others). Arguments are prompted for, or pass them after the command:/mcp__justclaw-it__add-feature "stripe webhook handler" python. - VS Code (Copilot agent mode):
/mcp.justclaw-it.add-feature. - Cursor and other clients that support MCP prompts list them in their slash-command or prompt menu.
- Any MCP client:
prompts/list, thenprompts/getwith the name and arguments.
The prompts
add-feature
Arguments: feature (required), stack, licence (default permissive). Search, licence check, pull, integrate, attribute: the agent searches with search_components (free), compares with find_similar (free), checks check_component_security (free) when a result has advisories, shows you its pick, pulls it with get_component (1 credit), adapts it to your code, and adds the attribution header plus a THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES entry.
licence-check
Arguments: scope, project_licence. A read-only review of your dependencies and of code pulled from JustClaw-It: licence compatibility, missing attribution and advisories, with a findings table and fixes. It uses only free tools and never pulls.
starter
Arguments: idea (required), stack. Plans a project from 3-8 components, shows the plan and the credit cost before pulling, and points Pro users at compose_starter (10 credits for the whole starter). Without Pro it pulls the pieces one by one.
find-alternative
Arguments: dependency (required), reason, stack. Finds where the dependency is used, compares licence-cleared components that do the same job, recommends one (or says keep the dependency), and on your OK swaps it in with attribution.
