Windsurf
Windsurf's Cascade agent reads remote MCP servers from mcp_config.json. Remote servers use serverUrl (or url) rather than a command.
Automatic
npx @justclaw-it/cli init
The CLI writes ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json.
Manual
Add to ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json:
{
"mcpServers": {
"justclaw-it": {
"serverUrl": "https://justclaw.it.com/mcp",
"headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer <YOUR_API_KEY>" }
}
}
}
Replace <YOUR_API_KEY> with your key.
Windsurf's documentation now lives under the Devin Desktop name. For its legacy Cascade agent the file is ~/.config/devin/mcp_config.json on macOS and Linux and %APPDATA%\devin\mcp_config.json on Windows; the same entry works there. Its newer Devin Local agent configures MCP servers in the Devin CLI config files instead; see Devin's MCP documentation. The config supports ${env:VAR_NAME} in headers, so you can write "Authorization": "Bearer ${env:JUSTCLAW_IT_API_KEY}" instead of the literal key.
Check it
Open the MCP section of the Cascade panel and refresh: justclaw-it should list its tools. Cascade can use at most 100 tools across all servers at once; JustClaw-It adds 8.
Try it
Search JustClaw-It for a Go JWT validation middleware with a permissive licence.
