Terms of Service
Last updated 25 October 2026. These terms cover your use of justclaw.it.com, its MCP server, API keys and
the connector tools ("JustClaw-It", "we"). By creating an account or using an API key you agree to them.
Open decisions before this draft is final:
- Legal entity: Who is the contracting party and merchant of record: M P personally, Two7 Design, or a new LLC? The pages say "JustClaw-It" until this is set.
- Jurisdiction: Governing law and venue (which US state, or elsewhere) for disputes.
- Contact email: A dedicated legal/privacy address, or keep mike+mcpsupport@two7.design.
- Data retention: How long usage logs, audit logs and closed accounts are kept (the draft says 12 months for logs, 30 days to action a deletion request).
- Refund window: Whether to add a goodwill window (for example 7 days on a first subscription) on top of the billing-error refunds the draft promises.
- Self-serve cancel: /account has no cancel button and there is no Stripe customer portal yet, so the drafts (and /support) say cancel by email. Add the Stripe portal, or accept email cancels.
- Minimum age: The draft says 16+; confirm, or use 13+ / 18+.
1. What JustClaw-It is
JustClaw-It is a search and retrieval service over a library of third-party open-source code components.
Paid plans buy API credits: the right to make a number of tool calls against the service.
You are not buying, and we do not grant, any rights in the components themselves.
2. Third-party code and your attribution obligation
- Every component is open-source code written by third parties and is provided to you under its
original licence, shown with each result (SPDX identifier, copyright holder and source repository).
- You are responsible for complying with that licence when you use, modify or distribute a component,
including keeping the attribution header we include, reproducing licence and copyright notices where required,
and, for weak-copyleft code, keeping modifications to those files under the same licence.
- Licence data is collected automatically from the source repositories. We work to keep it accurate, but
you should check the licence of anything you ship.
3. Accounts and API keys
- You need a verified email address. Keep your API keys secret; you are responsible for use of your keys.
Regenerate a key at /account if it leaks.
- One free account per person. Creating multiple accounts to multiply free credits is not allowed.
- You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if higher.
4. Plans, credits and billing
- Plans, prices, credit refills and fair-use caps are listed at /pricing and form part
of these terms. Paid plans are monthly subscriptions billed in advance through Stripe and renew until cancelled.
- Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and lapse when your account closes. Free-plan credits
reset daily; unused paid-plan credits carry over while the subscription is active.
- Pro ($49/mo) includes pay-as-you-go overage past its weekly refill, billed per credit.
Other plans stop at their limit.
- Paid plans have a yearly fair-use cap on distinct components pulled, to prevent bulk copying of the library.
- We may change prices or plans with at least 30 days' notice by email; changes apply from your next renewal.
- Cancellation and refunds: see the refund policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, mirror or bulk-export the library, or use the service to build a competing dataset or index;
- share, resell or publish API keys, or route other people's traffic through your account;
- circumvent credit metering, rate limits, fair-use caps or the free-tier signup checks;
- probe, attack or overload the service, or access accounts or data that are not yours;
- use the service or its output to break the law or a component's licence.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where the breach is not serious we will warn you first.
6. No warranty
The service and every component are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of
any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement,
accuracy of scores or licence data, and uninterrupted availability. Code returned by the service has not been
audited for your use case: review and test it before you rely on it.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, JustClaw-It is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or
punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the
amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Takedown requests
If you own code in the library and want it removed, or believe it is listed under the wrong licence, email
mike+mcpsupport@two7.design with the repository URL. We will review and act promptly.
9. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; material changes are emailed at least 30 days ahead. You can stop using the service
and close your account at any time. Sections 2, 6, 7 and 10 survive termination.
