# ChatGPT

Add JustClaw-It to ChatGPT as a connector and sign in with your JustClaw-It account. The connector uses OAuth, so there is no API key to paste; your plan and credits come with your account.

## Add the connector

Custom MCP connectors in ChatGPT need developer mode, which OpenAI offers on some plans and workspaces only.

1. In ChatGPT, open **Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings** and turn on **Developer mode**.
2. Back in **Apps & Connectors**, choose **Create**.
3. Fill in:

   | field | value |
   | --- | --- |
   | Name | `JustClaw-It` |
   | MCP Server URL | `https://justclaw.it.com/mcp/signin` |
   | Authentication | OAuth |

4. Confirm that you trust the connector and choose **Create**. A JustClaw-It sign-in window opens.
5. Enter your email. We send a one-time sign-in link; open it in the same browser. New here? The same link creates your free account.
6. Check the consent screen (the app, the host it returns to, your email and plan) and choose **Approve**.

In a chat, pick the JustClaw-It connector from the tools menu (developer mode) and ask for a component.

## What it can do

Search the library and pull components with your account's credits, exactly as your API key would. Search is free; each `get_component` pull costs 1 credit (see [Credits & plans](/docs/credits)). It can't see your billing, change your account or create keys.

## Disconnect

Open [your account](/account#apps) → **Connected apps** → **Disconnect**. You can also delete the connector in ChatGPT's settings.

## Try it

> Use JustClaw-It to find a licence-cleared Python rate limiter and show me its licence before pulling it.
